There is a first time for everything, but nothing quite like all the firsts you get to experience with your child. Our most recent first was a vacation! Up until last weekend, Aria had only spent three nights away from home. One in the hospital at one month with RSV and two nights at grandmas. So, we doubled it! We spent three nights in Kansas City with some pretty amazing people! It was definitely the way to do vacation...a home to stay in, awesome home-cooked meals to eat, fun kids to play with, and just truly wonderful people to interact with. Oh, and we did some pretty fun stuff around the city, too! Besides the big first of being on vacation, Aria fed her first goat, rode on her first hayrack, saw her first tennis match, sat in her first helicopter, and watched her first MLB game! Justin and I are still plugging along at our goal of visiting all 32 MLB teams' parks. We are now at five! I really loved our ability to do so much in a short time. And even though it was an extremely kid-friendly trip, there was a nice balance of things for us, too. I think I had just as much fun in the 'bounce house' as Aria and obviously the baseball game was our choice. We were so glad for the chance to reconnect with friends---we miss you a lot! Thanks again for everything! Enjoy the slide show!
