Wisdom Beyond Her Years

Tonight, my daughter was brushing her teeth and looking in the mirror at herself.  I could tell she was pondering something.  She pulls the toothbrush out of her mouth and says, "When I get bigger, I'll still be Aria."

Yes, my dear, beautiful, sensitive, intelligent daughter.  You will always be Aria. And that will always be good enough.  You don't have to be anyone else.  You don't have to change who you are, what you represent, or what you love for anyone, especially anyone of the opposite sex.  God made you, Aria Jackie Pegump.  He knit you together in my womb.  He designed you to reflect him, to love him, and to bring others to him.

So just be who you are.  Be confident in who you are.  Aria, you are and forever will be a beautiful melody for God!
