Braids

There is something about little girls with braids.  One of my best friends growing up had super long hair and her mom always put two French braids in her hair.  I loved having my hair braided and I always hoped to be able braid my little girl's hair. 

Two things.  I never learned to master the French braid.  I can do it, but can't keep it tight.  And, Aria has a funky part and cowlick.  She finally has enough hair to braid, but the two sides aren't even with her part.  It also does not go straight back for just one braid.

So, I discovered I can do this:

I don't have to mess with the top of her head and it is still beyond cute!
